Private Event, and other closures
- Friday May 29, 2026 Sky View Observatory will close at 4pm. Last entry ticket is 2:45pm. The cafe and bar will close at 3:30pm.
- Friday June 5, 2026 Sky View Observatory will close at 4pm. Last entry ticket is 2:45pm. The cafe and bar will close at 3:30pm.
- Saturday June 13, 2026 Sky View Observatory will close at 4pm. Last entry ticket is 2:45pm. The cafe and bar will close at 3:30pm.
- Saturday September 12th, and Sunday September 13th Sky View Observatory is closed all day.
General Information:
- Last Elevator and Ticket Sale to Observatory Stops One Hour Prior to Closing
- Doors to Columbia Center Lock One Hour Prior to Observatory Closing, we recommend arriving early if you are catching the last elevator up!
- Bar/Café Ends Service 30 Minutes Prior to Closing. Coffee Service Ends One Hour Prior to Closing

Walking distance from the waterfront and downtown hotels. One block east of LINK Light Rail Pioneer Square Tunnel Station. Main entrance located on 4th Avenue just south of Columbia Street. Once you enter Columbia Center from 4th Avenue, you will be able to purchase tickets and take the elevator all the way up to the 73rd floor from the 1st-floor Atrium.
